Think of it as a three-dimensional X-ray that is more precise than conventional equipment, requires less processing time, and does it with far less radiation exposure. Ultra cone beam images present an outstanding advantage when diagnosing patients and evaluating treatment options compared to flat, two-dimensional images. This leads to much greater accuracy for all dental treatment but especially implant placement and oral surgeries.
